What is Holistic Nutrition?
Multiple factors can affect our health. As a holistic nutritionist I look at whole body, holistic health. I look at factors such as stress levels, mental well being, digestion, dietary habits, hormones, lifestyle, movement and exercise. Holistic nutrition is a proactive approach, and acknowleges the connection between body, mind and spirit. I use natural, whole foods, nutrient recommendations, exercise and movement, stress management techniques and lifestyle recommendations to address your concerns and the root of your symptoms to help you on your wellness journey.
I specialize in food sensitivity diets, eliminations diets and stress management techniques. For over ten years, our family has needed to follow various food sensitivity diets for health reasons and I have a large collection of recipes to suit needs such as gluten free, dairy free, egg free, yeast free or combinations of the above. Stress management is a huge part of health and improving health. I also have options of combining nutrition with Neuromovement (brain focused movement) lessons to help the body respond to stress in a more resilient manner and to improve body and brain function.
