Friesen Wellness Farm is a small operation begun in 2024, focusing on chickens, berries, and vegetables. We have about 70 chickens (free-range, non-GMO feed, and receive sunlight all day) and acres of wild berries (thimbleberries, salal, Oregon grape, dewberries, and blackberries), along with newly planted blueberries, strawberries, grapes, kiwis, asparagus and apple trees. We focus on sustainable, regenerative agriculture.

We hatched a LOT of roosters this spring... They've lived a good life mowing down our weeds and crowing at predators with plenty of sunshine and fresh outdoor air, and now they are in our freezer. High quality, flavourful meat butchered locally (licensed butcher, but not government-inspected since we do farm gate sales only; we don't pump them full of water or brine like supermarkets do): $8/lb.
